Brighton & Hove City Council
Brighton
As Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors for the Black Rock rejuvenation project in Brighton, Rose Consulting had led the cost management and overseen the construction progress to revitalize the eastern seafront. The project focuses on improving public spaces, enhancing infrastructure, and promoting sustainable transport links between the seafront, Black Rock, and Brighton Marina. Key elements include environmental enhancements, accessibility improvements, and the creation of new leisure and community spaces to support the long-term development of the area.

Carbana
Royal Wooten Bassett
For Carbana’s developments in Royal Wootton Bassett and Exeter, Rose provided project management, site management, and quantity surveying services. These sites feature self-service car wash bays, dog wash stations, and laundromats, with a focus on sustainability through biodegradable cleaning solutions and water treatment systems. The Royal Wootton Bassett site includes four tilted wash bays, while the Exeter site, launched in early 2024, offers six. Both projects were delivered efficiently, ensuring high-quality, eco-friendly facilities in line with Carbana’s expansion goals.

Pragnell
Stratford-upon-Avon
Rose Consulting are providing Cost Management services for Pragnell’s redevelopment, overseeing budget planning, procurement strategies, and cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency while maintaining the project’s high standards. The redevelopment includes the expansion of the flagship showroom, the creation of 'The Embassy by Pragnell', and the pre-owned watch boutique. The project has carefully balanced preserving historic architectural features with modern retail upgrades, ensuring a seamless blend of heritage and luxury.

Sofico Office
Malvern
Acting as Project Manager, Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor, we delivered the office fit out of Sofico’s new premised at Malvern Science Park – transforming a shell and core space into a fully functional workshop with new partitions, kitchen installation, electrical works, and internal finishes. We provided careful coordination of design, logistics, and a two-phase programme delivered concurrently and our role ensured smooth delivery and minimal disruption to neighbouring tenants.

Hewlett Packard

We were responsible for the project management of the design and construction of Hewlett-Packard’s new-build 23,250 square metre Bracknell headquarters from reclamation works (previously it was a landfill site) to completion.

Sun Microsystems UK
Multiple Locations
Rose was appointed as Facilities Consultant, assisting the management of Sun Microsystems in outsourcing their facilities management function in the UK and Ireland. The fundamental aspect of the project was establishing what Sun required from the new outsourced facilities solution, and Rose facilitated this in order to generate a clear vision.
Rose specified the services, managed the tender process and worked with the selected supplier throughout mobilisation to ensure that all the new systems and processes were suitably implemented. Rose also created a facilities business plan for the group; defining a vision, goals and activities designed to develop the group into a market leading service.

Southampton Oceanography Centre
Southampton
This uniquely complex building provides an oceanography research centre for the Natural Environment Research Council. Rose acted as project management advisors for the development – a joint venture between NERC and Southampton University.
In total, the building extends to almost 25,000m². It is located in the Docks area and also provides the home base for the British Antarctic survey vessels.
Rose were also commissioned to project manage the fitting-out of the centre and the final completion of the scheme and to develop the Facilities Management strategy for the building, helping to secure a suitable contractor to run the centre.
Shell Centre
Southbank
Rose were appointed to initially undertake the refurbishment of Shell Centre whilst remaining occupied and were then retained to act as the Project Manager for the feasibility study and planning application.
Together with International Architects Zeidler Roberts and Arup Associates, a scheme for 35,000m² of Offices and a 25,000m² of Shopping and Entertainment Centre to be housed below the Piazza with a Glazed atrium roof.
Rose managed the process with Shell to the point where circumstances changed significantly and Shell's appetite for redevelopment waned. Today the above ground redevelopment is being completed following the deal with Canary Wharf.
Premier Inn

Rose provided project management services for the Premier Inn hotel brand.
We completed 10 hotel developments including Heathrow and City Airport, increasing the brand profile of what was the fastest growing hotel offering of that time.

Swan Centre
Eastleigh
The Scan Centre is an existing shopping complex located in Eastleigh.
The development occupies the site to the side of the existing centres car park.
The scheme included a nine-screen cinema, 20 lane bowling complex, a number of A1 and A3 units which are all accessed from a new external concourse, and a new 300 space car park.

This mixed redevelopment within the city centre included the provision of a multi-storey car park, one budget hotel, one luxury hotel, retail and residential units.

Star City
Birmingham
Star City is a new generation of urban entertainment centres created by a joint venture with the help of American architects, the Jerde Partnership.
The scheme included a 30-screen cinema, bowling and an exciting mix of family leisure, themed restaurants and bars.
